Can anyone advise on this; Ive booked a MEL-SYD-HNL award in Business but domestic sector in economy. Still paid biz reward rates for full trip. Not the end of the world, I'm "happy" to take the connecting trip in Y.

However, given the fare is business and if space available at check-in or gate, would QF give me a seat in the biz cabin? Or have experiences from you guys indicated definitely not?

Appreciate any insights.. :-)

It's unlikely - you should have lounge being a CX Diamond, maybe you can ask in the lounge.

There is no provision gernally to upgrade from Award flights.
