What's the best way to setup an alert for cancelled flights?

Would "New Flight Schedule Alert" trigger an alert if the flight was marked as cancelled (as opposed to a timing change)?

@davidj Here's one way to sort of do it.

Set up a flight alert for Y fare bucket having less than one.

It seems that most airlines (including Qantas) zero all fare buckets out when considering cancelling a flight.

(Thread necromancy because I just had a (sadly) successful use of this method for a March CHC flight.)
