OWE/WP get shoe shine service in the LAX F Lounge. Yet the same services in HKG and SIN are only available to WP1 and CL. F has been removed off both of these routes so it is not possible to buy a ticket with these included either.

How can QF justify the inconsistency?

I would also suggest them offering the service for a fee to OWS/QP members. They obviously have an employee there for the purpose of performing the service whenever a WP1 is in, so why not maximise the revenue from the lounges?

There is no LAX F lounge??

I do not understand. I think the OP is clear there IS a LAX lounge, and that as a mere WP he can get his shoes shined there, whereas in HKG he has to shine his own. Am I confused?

because in Singapore and Hong Kong your maid would have shined your shoes for you :)

My guess is that CX and BA were involved in deciding the level of perks offered to Emerald PAX in the LAX lounge. While HKG and SIN lounges are QF turf only.

There is a LAX TBIT lounge, where all QF flights depart from, but it is only J and the F section is still being built. ie no F lounge exists atm.
I was unaware of the shoe shining service for OWE/WP in the new LAX TBIT J lounge despite being WP and flying F out of there twice in the past 3-4 months.
Maybe I should look it up or something.

I believe it is better not to highlight some inconsistencies as the simplest solution for QF is revert to the lowest level of service 'for consistency'. If you get something above the norm, consider it as a win and leave it at that.
