I could only find the offer outlining information on the FlightHacks website, my question is for card holders beyond end of January, is the offer of 5000 points/month still going to be honoured?

If not, it would be quite rich to have cut it only 6 months in & loss out on half the points.

That would be great, I’ve sent Starcard an email to clarify. Couldn’t find anything in particular outlining this so any info you find will be great.

Just an update to any others wanting to know, spoke with StarCard this week, they advised that Qantas points will be honoured in February for any remaining statement periods with no restrictions or spend eligibility.

I go to my Woolies Caltex around 5am on a day when their pricing has jumped about 30 cents a litre to buy their cards 5% off using Woolies gift cards that I get 5% off.
In 2019 they offered this promotion two or 3 times so we have quite a few 10% off cards. The 4 cent Woolies loyalty works too if I bother to spend $30 at their supermarkets. Getting about 20 cents off in total on their cheap days works for me.

Are you saying that Caltex will pay out the remaining months' points? ie. March, April, May, June?

Yes that’s what I took from the call, it was quite simple with a 4 minute call. You can reconfirm on ‭1300 365 096‬

FYI, my 5000 points for January landed last week but I haven't received any other points relating to the remainder of the original promo term. I'll give it a month or so, then I'm killing the card if no other points are forthcoming.

Interested to know if anyone has received points beyond Jan.

Yes same - received Jan points on 1/2/2020 - hoping they will honour the balance of the months. Wondering if we still have to spend the min requirement at Caltex each month if this is the case...

Remaining months' points just landed in my QBR account today. They appeared in two separate transactions: 5,000 points for Feb + 20,000 points for the remaining 4 months of my promo term (March-June).

I'll close this account next month.

OMG thanks for the heads up - I just checked and we got the balance of our points too. I'm glad they honoured the deal. I've already signed up to BP Plus so will close out our Starcard too next month as we only signed up for the points

Can confirm that we received the remaining points for the full serve of 60k, my partner called Caltex to clarify what are the benefits of the card moving forward and they said there was something in the works.

Well Caltex are rebranding as Ampol this year, so maybe we'll see an Ampol/Velocity partnership when they launch?

Don't see much point in keeping the card for the time being. I'll focus my fuel spend over at BP with their current promo.
