Calling HPClub from overseas / ADL misposting issue

Does anyone know of the number to call Hilton Premium Club (the old one, not the new Macquarie Card Services) from overseas, i.e. the non-1800 number?

I need to call to activate a Member for a Stay card.

I rang the 1800 number and enquired for you. The answer is to go online to hiltonmacquarie dot com and on the front page there is a guest pass activation tab. Use that as it applies to ALL the cards whether pre or post Macquarie Bank involvement.

I hope that works for you by phone.

I am sure this has been answered before but do we need to activate our old Member for a Stay cards before use?
 
Thanks everyone.

Used the online system from Hilton Macquarie website and I got an activation code. Seems very quick, as if the information didn't mean much at all! (Unless they store this later for cross-matching when the Member for a Stay card is redeemed)

So now it appears all I have to do is have the pass presented at check-in along with the activation code quoted.
 
It even knew I was going to stay at Hilton Adelaide without logging in first.

Can it be as simple as that?

Could it be coincidence that Hilton Adelaide is the alphabetically first hotel in the Asia-Pacific?


In any case, it turned out to be a mostly fool's errand here, as my "guest" managed to settle the account without needing to hand over the card. I hope she won't be charged again later (why do you think the hotel retains a credit card swipe), but that is rather fortunate.

Good to hear and hopefully there are no issues down the track.

Unfortunately I am now minus a Member for a Stay card and still waiting for the 20% to be credited back to the credit card.

My credit from Adelaide was returned to my CC yesterday. On the downside, I only received 246 HHonors points for the stay. Apparently my spend there was $24.95 US. ISTR my accomodation was a bit more than that :)

I hope you obtained a printed folio list all charges and credits.

FWIW, my Pre-paid stay credit was applied yesterday (but I did check-out on Sunday evening).

Same here. I got the credit back yesterday and then noticed that I only received 204 HHonors points + 204 HHonors bonus points for the stay. :confused:

Same here; I have received only 1013 base points for my stay. This is less than ¼ of what I should have received.:shock:

No. Just 2 nights accommodation including breakfast. I believe I should have received close to 4,000 HHonors points including the bonus points. No details in the efolio either. Weird.

By the way this loyalty program is extremely high maintenance....
 
I have just had a light look and my points appear to be correct. Mr & Mrs Fredd are here and theirs appears to be OK also. :D

All considered I should have got around 4000 on my calculation....
 
Seems to be no problems here. About 3,200 base points plus double points promo plus 15% for HH Silver bonus.

Then another 3,000 BD miles on the double dip. Looks alright here.
 
The XE.com exchange rate for Monday was 0.841410.

I see this: "*NET Folio($USD): $101.37".

Base points of 1014 indicates an outlay of no more than AUD130 for three nights in a paid executive level room using the January Sale.

Anyway, I am missing 5300+ HHonors points with My Gold and Double Dip bonus option.

I contacted HHonors who told me to contact the hotel as they did not have a folio "as yet". I spoke to the "Assistant Manager" who asked me to send an email with a copy of the "Hotel Stay Point Details". Which I have done.

No real panic as the more important Stay and Night Credits have posted .
