This is posted as part of my trip report which is here http://www.australianfrequentflyer....tos/parts-portugal-spain-then-fasa-61547.html

Five or so minutes uphill from the bus station was our home for the next 7 nights-a freestanding house set over 4-5 levels and a few traps to catch even those of average height. The kitchen is fully equipped, dishwasher, big kitchen & freezer, gas cooker electric oven etc. Level 2-lounge with sat tv & dvd facilities, levels 3-4 bathroom with separate full bath, great shower and washing machine. Just up from that is the bedroom with heaps of room & 2 extremely comfortable beds pushed together. The final steps up take you to a casual lounge room with a couple of day beds and another fridge and then on the outside is a great terrace (after our modifications to reduce the late afternoon sun) with distant sea views. The terrace is equipped with reasonably comfortable table and chairs, a sink and a portable gas cooker. We are given a bottle of red, a fruit platter, milk & chocolates in the fridge and Margot our English greeter gives us a good rundown of the workings of the place. The owner has furnished the house with quite a collection of fittings she has got during travels to various parts of Africa.

To us the rent was super cheap. We are 5 or so minutes downhill to the 3 small supermarkets, a booze wholesaler and a variety of restaurants. A variety of walks (different levels of challenge) begin nearby.
