I've booked for Jetstar starclass flight MEL-BKK. I read about baggage allowance from the website but I am a bit confused about cabin baggage allowance.

From the website;

Cabin Baggage limits are strictly applied. Each Passenger (except infants not occupying an aircraft seat) is permitted 1 main item of Cabin Baggage and 1 other small item, with a total combined weight of up to 10kg for Jetstar (JQ) and Jetstar Asia (3K/VF) or 7kg Jetstar Pacific (BL). If you are travelling with an infant, you may also carry on infant food for consumption inflight. If a seat has been booked for an infant, an approved infant car seat is permitted.
Each Passenger travelling on a StarClass fare is permitted 1 additional main item of Cabin Baggage provided that only one item may be a suit pack or garment bag, provided that each main item does not exceed 10kg, with a total combined Cabin Baggage weight of up to 20kg.

Does it means that I can have;

one 10 kg luggage + one 10 kg luggage + one small item (purse etc.)

but if i carry suit pack, i can carry only one of it?

one 10 kg luggage + one suit pack

and what if i have notebook bag, is it count as luggage?

or i can have 10 kg luggage + 10 kg luggage + one notebook bag?

THanks!

Yes, that sounds about right. Only one suit pack allowed. If your notebook bag is small I would call that the small item. The main thing would to be under the 10kg and 20kg cut offs.

No worries

I'm having second thoughts about the laptop bag. While it should be ok, it would probably be prudent to be able to put it into one of your other bags in case they have a problem with the size and having 3 items.

probably a small risk but I do like to have all possibilities covered.
