Interesting offer from BYOjet in my email yesterday - take my credit as a voucher for Myer, JB HiFi or The Good Guys. Part of the credit or all of it.
I must admit I've been slacked and haven't started any legal processes to get my refund in cash. This seems like a reasonable option if I can come up with $2254 of spending (I have already had my eye on a $2000 stove in The Good Guys!).
I'm guessing Flight Centre are offering the same?
Presumably what's in it for BYOJet (and FC, their parent company) is some sort of cut from the retailers to replace the commission on their sale of the airline tickets?
