Re: Simple Question - PJs in J on QF21?

They did in late Jan. Not sure if that's recent enough or not.

Re: Simple Question - PJs in J on QF21?

I flew last month and they provided pyjamas and amenity kit.

Re: Simple Question - PJs in J on QF21?

Yes, definitely got the PJs on QF21 in Sept. this year

Re: Simple Question - PJs in J on QF21?

Got the Pj's and amenity kit on QF21/22 earlier this month. :)

Thanks everyone, one less thing to pack. Been a while since I've flown that route on QF.

BYO PJ ? - I must be paranoid

Friends

With quite a few threads on QF cost cutting (small plate supper, tales of two brekkys etc....) here on AFF, I start to become paranoid with my upcoming trip on QFi in a few days.

Do I need to BYO PJs here or not ?

It is QF 21 / 22 in J - both an overnight flights.

Has AJ reached into the PJ department yet ?

Could someone dispel my paranoia please ?

My last QFi was QF11/12 in Nov and yes, PJ was still there (in F).

But I love my PJ for an overnight flight (note that, SQ and EK !).

Thanks in advance

ps: as I said, I must be paranoid given the cost cutting headlines esp. to the less glamorous routes !

Yes, definitely paranoid.

Edit: And could presumably be moved to this thread http://www.australianfrequentflyer....estions/simple-question-pjs-j-qf21-56419.html.

Thanks

I was not aware of that thread.

My paranoia is now gone !

On a slightly serious note, the ongoing cost cutting has caused people like me to have questions about the level of expected services even for premium cabins. This is not good PR material IMHO. Previously, I would confidently know that such services would be provided, now you cannot be 100% sure.

Can confirm that QF 21/22 still offers PJs for J cabin (Dec 13-Jan 14).

QF42 CGK>SYD did issue them (J type) on Jan 2014 flight, which surprised me as from what people were saying on AFF, I wasn't expecting PJs on Asia > Aus QF flights.

worth noting that even though your flight might be designated a PJ flight, i guess there is no guarantee. Like catering, they may not load enough, orthey may not have enough for the return flight, so you may miss out. I always take my own.
