If you can get your dates in August, definitely. I'm not seeing availability but I'm not checking all dates and am only interested in Business. Thanks everyone. It looks like it is just as cost effective to fly from Melbourne return using Avios.
Etihad and Emirates probably offer the most award seats to their own members (and have less competition for seats than Qatar), but they also have higher prices and, in Etihad's case, far worse cancellation policies. When you compare Qatar to Emirates and Etihad, which of the three release more business class seats for redemption ?

I do have a Boost option as I earnt a few thou from transferring from a partner hotel, I can boost upto x6 which earn rate is 2.25c per point, fraction better than the example of buying 250k with 50% bonus @2.35c/p
You'll get way better 3x boost prices on BA, then you can transfer to Qatar. If you book a hotel through Avios.com until the end of the month you get 15x Avios per pound, and the ability to boost those Avios at around 1.21 AU cents per Avio.I don't see a bonus offer in my account upon logging in. just usual option to purchase Avios.
