Business Max bundles - Cost variations

Hi,
Have just booked return SYD-SGN in business. I noticed when I first looked at the pricing, the fare was about $700 each way, and the business max bundle was $200... the tickets I booked were at $485 each way, but the max bundles were $500!

Does anyone know if the max bundle prices change as the fare price fluctuates, or if I add on later will they get cheaper than $500 each way? Anyone have experiences that they would care to share?

Not sure if $500 for 120 SCs are worth it.

Funnily enough I was sitting next to a Jet* marketing person on a recent flight and mentioned this to her. She just smiled.

I said that when there is a sale on the base fare decreases but that the Max package increases to cancel out the sale fare meaning that if you want SCs and points there isn't a price decrease.

I don't think Jet* really wants to be associated with the SCs and points side and only do it to encourage QFFers to fly with them.
