Business Award availability Hawaiian Airlines HNL to SYD

Starting to plan a trip for mid next year and looking at reward availability for a business class seat HNL to SYD with Hawaiian Airlines for the journey home.
Although the month we are looking at has not been released yet (late May), there seems to be no business reward seats /availability showing for whatever months I look at.

Do I have to ring VFF re availability or does Hawaiian Airlines simply not release business reward seats to VFF.
I'm only after 2 seats.

Have you tried searching for one seat? It is possible that there is only one seat left and you might need to travel separately on different dates.

Our flight dates have not been released yet, so I'm just doing a search for March next year to ascertain how readily business reward seats are available.
Even searching for 1 seat brings up 'sold out' There are business Any Seat Rewards available for 553700 each, but I'm after the reward seat at significantly lower points

Its a partner and does not show up on line - they are great on hhe phone checking. I booked back in March from Honolulu to Brisbane for November and availability was extremely limited and I only ever seen 1 seat offered. I am actually considering economy on the way over as I haven't been able to get a business reward within my date limits but still ringing twice a week just in case.

I have looked at this through Aadvantage-they only show HA out to 331 days.I don't know if HA releases them earlier to other airlines.
Always more availability out of BNE.On aa.com I virtually never see 2 J awards out of SYD.Availability out of BNE is patchy for J but does occur.
Sometimes 1 J award out of SYD whilst 1 J out of BNE most days.

Im only after the flight from HNL back to Australia. So I'll be looking at HNL to BNE for more reward availability.
Edit: just noticed HNL to BNE stops over in SYD anyway.

Would have been good use of points under old AA rules with a gateway stop over but not currently - I value AA point high due to my inability to earn them with ease

I don't know if they had any restrictions............but I managed a business class for November
