What is your price range? As mentioned you are better off going into the city and spending the day walking around. EZE is about 30-40 minutes away from downtown. You can get a taxi booked here for $195 pesos each way Inicio
Just came back from Buenos Aires 2 weeks ago. I stayed at a hotel called, LOI SUITES RECOLETA.
Go on the web and look at www.loisuites.com.ar
At the top right hand corner you will most probably need to change the language to English then you will find about 6 or so of their hotels listed in a line across the top. Click on Loi Suites Recoleta.
It was about 5 or 10 minutes max from airport. It was a 5 star hotel (in there minds) but I would suggest a 4 or 4 and half in our scale of things, but in a very good area and close to bars and numerous resturants. Cant tell you the cost as all mine was prepaid and I don't have a individual breakdown.
Arriving at EZE was a bit of drama as we dis-embarked from our plane miles from the terminal and bussed in where we waited for about 55 mins before the first of any bodies luggage started to come through, and as per normal, on my entire trip, our 2 pieces were 3rd last and 2nd last to come out.
