Recently, I took advantage of QR's 'transfer ALL points to QR Avios with a 30% bonus'. The transaction was labelled 'successful' on the Accor side, but the Avios didn't appear in my QRPC account.

I contacted QR 'customer care' 🤣 about this, but on 2 occasions, in e-mails 1.5 and 2.5 weeks after the transfer, they denied receiving anything from Accor and they sent me back to Accor. The second e-mail, a few days ago, was quite adamant that they had investigated 'with the relevant team' and nothing had been received from Accor. So too bad, so sad ....

Today I phoned Accor customer care (thanks @sudoer ) and they responded very well and sent me an e-mail with case# and saying that they had contacted QR (I was a bit dubious about that, but .... ) . I sent a screen shot of my most recent e-mail from QR with the denials and refusals.

Well, surprise, surprise. Tonight, the Avios appeared in my account - dated 2 a few days after the transfer (about 3 weeks ago). So they had received the transfer and there was a glitch and when I emailed, were either lying through their teeth, or, more probably, just didn't bother doing anything until Accor contacted them.

I've said before - great to fly, but some of the worst customer service in the business.

Yeah, they can be a nightmare. Noticeably better as a Platinum though and they do look after their “own” a bit better but I can see how it puts people off them.
Funnily enough I have Accor and QR accounts linked and our most recent stay at Pullman Adelaide the points actually credited to QR the day before they credited to Accor. Just weird how it works🤷‍♂️
