Hi Everyone
It will be my first booking using Frequent Flyer points for an international trip. Looking at travelling on a multi-city fare from Sydney to San Francisco return via Nadi( Fiji) October 2019. Would like to get business seats for the long trips from Fiji-San Francisco and vice versa. Have looked at the available tickets on the Frequent Flyer Qantas Website but limited business seats for October.

Because Australia- USA is so popular thus limited business seats for bronze members should I grab the very limited available seats now or hold off for the 295 days before you go mark which will be early December to see if more seats open up for Bronze members.

Only going Fiji Airways as it seems impossible to get a direct flight from Australia- USA return for Bronze members wanting business class seats with classic rewards.

Thanks for looking at my post.
Cheers

Those release timeframes for NB members only apply to QF metal awards, so don't expect to see any more FJ J seats (NAD-SFO-NAD) released at that point

If you are willing to try the more unusual (and longer) routes you could have a look at QF/TN travelling via AKL/PPT/LAX. You will still have problems finding J but might be lucky.

Sometimes the QF website has seats available on partner airlines quite close to the date of travel, however there are no guarantees .

In mid June I (NB) booked a SYD-BKK in F on EK for travel in late August (quite a few other dates also available).
Then BKK-DXB-LIS (J) and BRU-DOH-BKK (J).
Couldn't get a QF or EK J or F BKK-SYD but got BKK-HKG-SYD in PE on CX.
Kept looking for BKK-SYD but nothing until a week before leaving BKK.
Then a BKK-HKG-SYD came up in J on CX. Booked that and cancelled the PE.
While I realise that flights to and from the US are more difficult I'd suggest you persevere and try other options via HKG or NRT.
Good Luck.
