LONDON
British Airways retired the Boeing 757 from its fleet on Oct. 30, after 27 years of operations.
The twinjet entered service with the UK airline in February 1983 on shuttle services from London Heathrow. As well as operating with BA’s mainline Heathrow-based fleet, the 757 also flew from London Gatwick and with the airline’s regional divisions, and with its former charter arm, Caledonian Airways.
