Brisbane Airbridge strikes again!

The whole problem with Australia is that we have put so many safeguards in place to stop dumb people exiting the gene pool - and this is the result...
It’s not just Australia, look at who the Americans voted in as president in an election for which there’s only about a 33% chance of having been fraudulently won.

I'm guessing it wasn't where it is in the photos or else the captain wouldn't be able to see the distance positioning information display because his view of that would be blocked by the air bridge.
There’s very clearly marked positions on the tarmac that the bridge must be parked in before you taxi in. It could be outside of the box, but still not blocking the view.

Given the speed they move at, their single purpose function, the obviousness of the view in front of the operator, i am totally lost as how this second incident could possibly occur unless it was unmanned and an electrical fault triggered it into random motion.

The view from the aerobridges visually is pretty restricted actually, and while they have a camera, the field of view is also very restricted.
