Haven't done this since i was a student, and back then i regularly got it through even though it didn't fit in sizing cage and i might be able to hijack the plane with my forehand.

I was wondering what it's like nowadays?

This is for domestic.

Even if able, i assume this counts as one of the two items.

Thanks :)

Refer to Prohibited items

(Only quickly skim read it earlier, but it appears that rackets are now allowed back onboard for domestic flights. )

wow ok i must have been either lucky or they banned it then unbanned it.

Must say, i have brought umbrella onboard < 2009..... ooops.
