Thinking about a wildlife trip to Borneo in Sept 27.Appwras to be a good time of year to go. Really want to concentrate on wildlife, not much else and especially the Orangutan
Reached out to a few well known and reputable Borneo travel companies but the quotes (excluding flights which I would arrange myself) are eye watering ...for Sandakan/Sepilok 4 dYs 3 nights, and Sukau ā Lahad Datu ā Danum Valley for another 2 nights.
Why can tripadeal doing it for 8 days for around 4,500 dollars ...albeit not to where as really want to go and see in total but only partly.
Anyone done one or the other and can offer a good strategy?
