It's been mentioned here about the frustrating change to Accorhotels.com for when you book in Sydney. If you've tried lately, you can no longer search for all Sydney hotels at once, it wants to give you random "sectors" of Sydney to book. It's been so painful for me that I've booked IHG hotels now because I just can't search properly.

Anyway, I emailed Accor the other day about it and just got this reply. Thought some of you might be interested.

Dear Mr. Pablo,

We appreciate your feedback regarding the map feature on our website. I understand that you are not okay how it was presented.


We take this comment and escalate this to our dedicated Technical Team for them to look into this and update the feature for easy navigation.


We thank you for your time in writing us.

Mate I couldn't agree more I thought it was a bug then it was still there the next day so started hunting around for a 'list' option or hidemap option... But nothing was obvious, bizarre!
 
Yep. Thought it was a bug too. Very annoying. Likely ditching Accor Sydney (pending Mardi gras visit to the pullman).
 
The only way I've found around it is to use the iPhone app to book.

Can I encourage others to email them as well - we might get action if more of us email them. I want it changed.
 
Expecting a call from the RDM of the pullman Hyde Park tonight, will bring it up.
 
It's not just me. I didn't bother with feedback as we only book as a last resort. I hate how you're kicked to the map location in the first instance to select a hotel.
 
No response at all. I've stopped booking Accor in Sydney as of this past weekend anyway now. It's not just the website that doesn't work, it's all the Sydney hotels too.
