Booking seats on multi-city international flights with VA/Qatar

I want to book business class BNE-LGW and FCO-BNE, which can't be done on the VA site, but can on the Qatar site.

However, the Qatar site won't let me book seats either way between BNE and DOH, saying they will be allocated by Virgin.

If I book the flights on the Qatar site, can I then book the VA seats somehow on the Virgin site? Or is it safer to phone the whole booking through VA?

You can book online, and select seats through VA, possibly by a ohone call if it won’t let you do it on line.

You won’t pay a call centre fees the. for assisted booking.
