I'm long-range planning to consume some points with fixed expiry (lots of KrisFlyer, some Asia Miles) after the Amex devaluation and some cancelled awards for friends. We're thinking Europe in a couple of years.

Four award business seats on the same itinerary to one of several ports in Europe seems doable (at least on SQ, at the far end of the calendar). However, since our mile balances are finite it might be more cost-effective to redeem miles for adults then pay the ~75% cash fare for kids. Would major airlines accept a two-kids-only revenue booking if there's a confirmed existing award booking for their parents in the same cabin? SQ and CX are obviously the main considerations but any partners I might be able to redeem with their miles would also be good to know about.
