Hi guys

I am flying to Europe with Qantas/Emirates....does anyone have the breakup of the 5 letters and one number that makes up the 6 characters that make up the reference.

One of the letters show the class of your seat allocation...i have booked in economy but not sure what class of economy....discount/ flex ...or whatever?

Cheers

The booking reference (6 digit... either all letters, or a combination of letters and numbers) does not represent a key and doesn't show anything at all (except identify your booking).

The fare basis which can also be a similar length can show details such as ticketed fare class. That will be the first letter. You can read that letter across to the Qantas points earning table. The fare basis can show booking class, one way or return, and identify specific rules.
