Booking QR J with QF Points

Has anybody had any luck booking Qatar J seats using QF points? I'm finding plenty of availability in economy but nothing up the front. Is it just not doable for QF members, or does it just not work online?

I managed it last year on muc-doh but this year im not seeing business seats but ba.com has availability so it does seem to be a problem at the qantas end

Was part of a 280k reward so no fee but my understanding is the fee should be waived if you can't book it on line

That's great, thanks. I'm also looking to use it on a 280K award. Seats showing on ba.com but only economy on Qantas.com

It's a QF site bug. You won't find any QR U class seats on the QF site but can find Y or F. Simply use the BAEC search then ring QF.
