Booking QF Flight Number operated by Vietnam Air

Wonder if anyone can advise if booking QF flight number but operated by Vietnam Air would one receive points and status credits.

Yes, if its got a QF flight number you get SC and points, only exception is JQ/ 3K awards.

I can't see anything that would suggest otherwise under the Airline Earning Table on the QF website...

Will say however find it strange that one can not get the option of MH which is OW and sponsored by QF

Fare on MH in J depart Aug 14 return 22 Aug is AUD $2596.00 versus QF / VIET AIR at around AUD $3596.00 so looks like MH it will be for me

Well, QF and MH did seem to have a falling out, and they have each responded by taking it out on each others customers.

My friends also booked MH in J to Vietnam in November under the recent Autumn promotion but I can't remember how much they paid. I was going to suggest it but you beat me to it... Then again you're an AFF member after all!
