Booking on Singapore and changing date

I have Y fare ticket on SYD to SIN for Dec. 6th and want to fly Dec. 5th. I have to use my company travel agency (AMEX), so cannot use other sites. I have look on line at Singapore air, personal AMEX and Orbitz, all show tickets for purchase. I call Singapore air and they cannot book over phone. I am wait listed....Was wondering if this is normal? Cannot believe all flight on Dec. 5th are booked. Does Singapore Air limit corp purchase of tickets in advance.

Generally tickets booked through an agency can only be changed by that agency. Have you contacted AMEX about this?

Yes I asked the agency, ...the Agency say no seats available when they look in their system. Trying to understand why one system says no seats and other show seats that can be purchased.
