Just to set the context, I have a multi-city booking booked for May, that the order of flights needs to be swapped around due to changed commitments.

Before you cancel the multi-city booking online, it states that it can only be used for a one-way or return trip of higher value.

Is it possible to book a multi-city trip with this credit that is created, or am i stuck with a credit that I can only use for a return trip?

Thank you in advance

I'm pretty sure it's possible ... but you have to phone up Qantas to book instead of using it online.

Perhaps they will charge a booking fee, perhaps if you argue your case properly they'll waive the fee (been there, done that!).

It's a PITA that you have to do it that way. Perhaps in the future they might improve the booking system to allow it.
