Hey guys,

Question: My mate and I are looking at booking J seats (using points) to London via Dubai (stop over for a few days). So effectively a multi-city booking. As it stands, we should have enough points each - however, as I've read to date, it doesnt look like Qantas/Emirates offer too many J seats for points. We either both get seats together, or we don't at all (or look at alternative routes). Is there a rule against him or I transferring the points across to one another, and then booking 2 adult tickets (assuming that if you enter 2 adults, it'll show you the availability of 2 J seats)? Otherwise, we'd have to call up and ask how many J seats available for classic award points, and then booking individually and potentially run the risk of one of us getting a seat and the other not. (we're both Bronze)
I know points transfer only applies to family, but is this usually enforced? Our circumstances are that we have enough points to do it individually, but would like to be together.
Thanks in advance guys.
