Booking Hotel via Qantas website for family members but still earning points

Hi,
I was wondering if it would be possible to book a hotel overseas for family members (eg my mum and husband) via the qantas website using my QFF number and therefore earn the 1000points per stay even though I won't be staying there? I would just book and pay on my credit card.
possible or not?

Hi,
The lead guest (i.e. person whom the booking is made for) needs to be the member matching the provided frequent flyer member number.


Unfortunately I can't post links, however, you can view the conditions for earning Qantas points on hotels by visiting the hotels site and clicking the conditions link located near the Frequent Flyer logo.


The third last point relates to member details and eligibility for the points.
