Booking Glitch or Ultimate Status Run - WLG-CBR

I've never flown SQ before but with their new direct CBR international flights starting in a few weeks I thought I'd consider them for an upcoming trip CBR-WLG-CBR.

Either I've found a booking glitch, or this is a really great opportunity to earn some extra status credits / points / whatever SG uses:



Yes, for the flight from Wellington to Canberra their booking engine is suggesting I can fly WLG-CBR-SIN-CBR for the same cost as just stopping in CBR the first time around. Free day trip to Singapore anyone?

Looks good. I have seen similar before. May not be bookable.

This also works for award flights, I believe.

Although, not sure if it works for WLG-CBR-SIN-CBR. I've only seen CBR-WLG-CBR-SIN.

Note its "From"... pricing could be a lot higher.
