Hi
I was hoping for a little help please.
The other half and I have booked a PE classic award from mel to lax on 25th July. Subsequently the in laws have decided to spend some time with us and want to fly over on the same date. I have looked at classic awards and there appears to be no availability and looked at ASA and it seems to be about 367k points! Phew!
2 questions - does it make sense for me to book the flights as I am the only WP in the group and is there any way I could request PE seats to be made available?
Thanks for your help!

Yes it does make sense for you to do the booking and yes you can ring up and request PE award seats to be released.
You might not be successful and should have a back up plan eg. request a day either side of departure and/or single seats on separate days
Good Luck :)

Thanks Princess Fiona
Called today and PE award flights made available on outbound and inbound Melbourne LAX!
Delighted!
