Hi

Just searching around and i have found Continental Airlines have way cheaper J
fares from Melb - Lax (flying AirNZ, MEL - AKL, AKL - LAX there and United LAX - SYD - MEL back) than going with either AirNZ or United return separately.

Anyone see any issues using Continental to book code share flights ?

They are about $2000 Aud cheaper than United return and $6000 cheaper than AirNZ

Don't see any problem with that at all ... wow that's cheap. AUD 5,270.96 all in for MEL-AKL-LAX and vv.. closest to that is VA with $7211 for MEL-SYD-LAX and vv.

It looks like you can choose flights operated by either UA or NZ both ways for exactly the same price ... I know which I'd be choosing!

Actually I did a bit more hunting ... you might be able to find slightly cheaper with US codeshares on NZ metal, but availability looks to be fairly spotty -- the CO option is heaps easier. Who are you looking to credit the points to?
