Booking flights on Chinese airlines.

I need to book flights from Hong Kong to Shanghai (SHA) and another from Shanghai (SHA) to Guangzhou (CAN).

Has anyone recently done this using the Trip app?

I used to use this app when it was known as Ctrip without any issues but I am interested in anyone's recent (2023) experiences. For information, preferred flights are on China Eastern.

Yes I regularly use Trip - it is perfectly fine for booking internal Chinese flts - just avoid changes if you can cause that is when they will stick it to you

Thanks for the reply. Have you used it for high speed trains as well ?

No I book trains through WeChat - I just find the system within WeChat much simpler and straight forward - others will disagree of vourse
