Booking flights ex-DXB

Hi Everyone

Just wondering how people are (or if they are) pricing flights ex-DXB? DXB doesn't appear as an origin option in either classic awards or paid flights - though it does appear in ASAs.

I am trying to work out if I will be able to book a QF classic award DXB-LCA-DXB which is operated by EK.

I might call the P1SST line but just wondering if I am missing a trick or are we waiting for the formal approvals.

I too was wondering if we can book EK online via QFF for other routes with stop over in DXB or request for upgrades on EK paid tickets with QF points?
