Hi all!

I'd like to book a one way from ANU (Antigua) to ATL (USA) award.

There is plenty of availability on AA via MIA, and I could book a round trip originating in ATL without any issue.

However QF website won't accept ANU as an origin, and the app will but says no service is available between these cities.

Is this possible by calling, or is there a greater issue here? Thanks for your advice.

Probably don’t have right to sell tickets from that origin.

Use the Qantas multi city tool with Mel -Syd for Sector 1 and ANU - ATL as Sector 2. This will at least enable you to establish if the route is available and the availability of seats - which you can then call to book.

Yes, if you can see the flights you want on the return, they’re available to book over the phone.

Just call up. As mentioned above QF won’t have a relevant Sales office so there’s a manual calculation of the taxes/surcharges involved.

They should waive any assistance fees because you couldn’t do it online.

This is quite a common problem (a lot of South America, some Asian countries - I had to call to get a flight from PNH (KTI) to HKG).

Is there QF award availability on AA ATL-MIA-ANU return? Or just with AA ff miles
Could be a currency issue ---> Antigua dollar - Wikipedia
As a test try a multi city award MEL-SYD, and ANU-MIA-ATL. My understanding that forces AU$.
If that shows availability phone them for ANU-MIA-ATL standalone.

Plenty of availability, I searched round trip ATL-ANU on the QF app and there are flights every day all month on the return leg. Was very surprised when I flipped the airport codes and the app said no flights exist! I was just looking at them!

And then the website wouldn't even allow ANU to be input.

The agent priced it in AUD, then said there was an error and they repriced it in USD, no issues with ticketing. Agent waived the booking fee when I explained the situation.

Just happy I started with a round-trip search or I would have assumed nothing was available. Thanks all for your advice
