Hi all

Does anyone know what happens in the case where you're booking an award seat to fly to Europe after April next year? Looking at going to Denmark, currently it takes you to London then flight from London to Denmark, but Etihad have a direct flight flight from Dubai to Copenhagen. Obviously this would be more convenient but can't book it currently... would they change the routing if I booked now and then it all got approved/confirmed or stuck with that routing?

Depends how Qantas want to handle it. If you book via London then i would expect to travel that way, or pay the change fee if award seats open up on the direct. You might be lucky if there is a significant schedule change and they offer you the direct flight to Copenhagen anyway. It all depends.
