Im looking at flying from Seoul to Bangkok

I found a mixed airline flight

Taipei - Tokyo (China Airlines) & then from Tokyo - Bangkok (JAL) in Business but when I search just the Tokyo - Bangkok (JAL) there is only Economy seats?

Has anyone had any luck calling Qantas to book a flight like this?

Similar situation:

Are you sure when you drill down that the first search result is not actually Taipei-Tokyo in business and then Tokyo-Bangkok in economy?

Having problems trying to book MEL-TPE-HKG on CI. Often I find there is an error message (attached) when selecting CI on TPE-HKG leg and previously I just chose a CX option and it worked. But this time only CI shows availability.

Will I be able to overcome this glitch by booking on phone, or is this some kind of phantom or illegal itinerary?
