I was on an AGL Velocity plan for electricity and gas from November 2025. In early June I ditched AGL and switched to another energy provider for both electricity and gas.
Over two weeks later, I received the following email from AGL:

Today, 10,000 bonus Velocity points were posted to my Velocity account!
So not only is AGL giving out unsolicited bonus bonus Velocity points to its customers -- it's giving them to ex-customers as well!
