bonus status credits

my GF got bonus status points from Qantas, how did she get that and how do i get on the offer?

It was before the strikes so nothing to do with that.

It's somewhere between luck of the draw, random, and highly targetted to certain QFFs that the members of AFF can't figure out the formla for. (yet)

I assume she's a high revenue pax with not enough SC's to renew their status.

My wife also received "The Tier Retain Bonus Status Credit" no email offer or notice - just popped in the statement like a true bonus.

She ended the previous year as PG which expired - so started the year as Silver, then during the year clawed back to Gold & with a last minute JASA achieved WP. An added bonus was that she got to keep some of the bonus SC into the current year....even though all flights were taken last month.
