BNE to PER to BME Check through bags

If I book an award QF flight to Perth then in the future book Perth to Broome, will my bags be checked in all the way from BNE to BME even if they’re on 2 different tickets.

And what is the minimum time I should allow for connection at Perth?

Yes, QF will connect bags from separate bookings when it’s Qantas to Qantas.

MCT is 40 minutes for domestic connections.

But on separate PNR/tickets do not have a connection. Just 1 flight ending and the next that happens to be as the same airport.
Need to get the boarding pass. At BNE or PER?
BME fight will close for checking 20(?) minutes before scheduled departure.
On a true connection you have both boarding passes at first check in.

QF will issue BPs in BNE. They will make it a connection (and protect it) when you check in for the first flight.

This is something QF does well unlike most airlines.
