Hi All,

Hope this is OK to ask.

I'm VA Gold and have a requirement to be in either Utah or Katowice, Poland for 1-2 weeks in July. Because of the short notice I'd like to book a major part on points. I don't mind spending a bit of money but reducing cost is #1 priority.

I'd like to leave 30 June / 1 July or thereabouts and return 1-2 weeks later - I'm flexible on that. Would you choose Singapore redemption (to ??) or DL/VA redemption to LAX ? Which is going to be easier/cheaper? Activity at the destination is similar cost. I'm thinking it will be easier to redeem my "family holiday redemption" on VA metal to LAX and pay the rest.

I'd like to get a feel for peoples opinions before putting in hours and hours of research about points across the different airlines etc. If the general feel is one way or the other it will save me many hours.

Thanks :)

Not sure about the answer to your question as it's very open-ended. But I'm just wondering what you mean by this? If you're referring to the annual guaranteed economy reward seat benefit for Velocity members, you'd have to book this at least 6 months in advance.

The Frequent Flyer Concierge team takes the hard work out of finding reward seat availability. Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, they'll help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Not sure why it’s showing you the unedited version? Realised very shortly after posting I was confused and edited it.

Upon review realised the edit never “took”.

The question is, points redemption wise, is Utah or Katowice less?
