Is anyone able to tell me whether the flights arriving tonight 4/2 around 5pm were using the new or old runway!

It was a mixture of both:



You can use flightradar24 to view playback. Playback time is UTC time so 06:00 is actually 5pm in Brisbane. Scrap that I can't tell the time

Hmm...nope. Brisbane doesn’t have daylight saving and so remains at UTC+10. 0600 is 4pm local.

30 years ago I was driving a taxi (former life) west along Parramatta Road, squinting into the setting sun.
Passenger, from Queensland, assured me I had to squint because of daylight saving.
25 or so years ago I joined them who don't squint, but it hasn't worked for me.
