BNE Koru lounge opening times

Does anyone have any knowledge or experience of the opening times of the BNE Koru lounge. The Web site states 2 hours before departures but does this apply only to Air New Zealand flight times. I am on a VA. flight, 6:10 am departure to ZQN however the first NZ flight is not until about midday?

The lounge should be open two hours before any flight operated by an airline using this lounge. I wouldn't get too excited though - this lounge is very average.

Thanks for that, it's what I was hoping. Familiar with this lounge but not sure anything else is open at 5am for breakfast

Yes the lounge as a whole is not fantastic but I find that it usually has better food then the domestic VA lounges...
