Hi, I am traveling from BNE to Narita tomorrow and just received a text from Qantas that they are currently working on the escalators and elevators that access the QF club. We' ve been advised to enter via the upper floor after checkin but before security and passport control. Has anyone had any experience with this so far? It seems like you wouldn't be able to relax in the lounge for fear of queues at security and passport control.

Did this 3 weeks ago. Lounge entrance is far right corner where JQ check in used to be.
Make sure you allow enough time to get through security. I was on JQ65 and allowed myself 30 minutes to get through security and get to the gate.
Only just made it  as there was only 1 of the 8 security lanes open. I actually had a run in with one of the security guards for voicing my opinion!
The 3 times I've used the Enhanced security lanes so far, have been way slower than the previous set up 🥺
