BNE - Car on runway - flights placed in holding pattern or diverted!

Apparently the two people using lasers have gained unauthorised access to the airport fields (unverified source); airport closed for another 30 minutes
 
SQ245 has been in a holding pattern for over 90 minutes now, how long until they are diverted to an alternative airport? Keeping in mind that the airport is closed for another 15-20 minutes (or longer if the 2nd person isn't caught soon)

Apparently SQ245 has been diverted to OOL, if that's the case will they be exempt from OOL curfew fines?

Flightaware shows that SIA245 landed at OOL earlier, then took off later to try to get to BNE but returned to OOL. Doesn't sound right.

Just noticed that on FlightRadar as well, those poor passengers, staff and crew :(.
 
I right royal mess . lots of flights diverted and landed in OOL.
 
SQ245 & QF594 are all now on there way to BNE ...leaving only QF556 in OOL ..... a very late night / early morning for some , but at least they get there.
 
My friend waited for SIA245 for 5hrs - the plane did in fact land at the Gold Coast twice - airport information was very limited and they finally got home at at 3.30am this morning.
 
Apparently the car crashed through the fence near the QF Link apron near the turn-off to QF Valet parking then headed towards the common user satellite before making a sharp turn left heading across a taxiway towards the active runway.

SO was on shift and heard screeching tyres over the top of an running APU on an aircraft however BAC & the tower were already aware of the incident when he called them.

Surely if you crash through a fence you would realise your mistake & stop there rather than keep driving particularly when it would be obvious you're at an airport.
