BKK transfer question.... MH to CZ

I have a flight from ADL to BKK on MH and am looking to book a separate flight on CZ which leaves 90 minutes after arrival in BKK, to JFK via CAN.

Will they interline my bags through to JFK in Adelaide if I ask, and is there a transfer counter at BKK to save me having to clear immigration?

Appreciate the assistance.... Transit is on the short side but I prefer to fly China Southern over Air China which has better connection time

As it's not a single itinerary the question of baggage is kind of moot - 90 mins is too short for a viable connection and if you are late you'll be buying a new ticket likely, best to give yourself a wider berth (like 6-8 hours or ideally overnight in BKK).

There is airside transit facilities but I would not put any confidence in them rerouting your baggage - CZ would not be the carrier to test this on!

Agree way too short. Can you do a minimum of 3hrs? With the players involved and the fact you are in BKK it's getting into perfect storm territory

Agree the connection is a little tight but we also don't know if MH will interline to CZ or if they don't interline whether the check-in agent is willing to check the bags through or not.
