Birds of a feather

I was going to post this in the "office" thread, but then I thought, stuff it, I'll put them here and post as many photos as I want. Whilst swmbo was getting a hair cut under the flight path in Pialligo, Canberra, I grabbed a coffee and admired the birds. There has been lot's of action lately, so presumably there will be a few more soon.

We had Richard the peacock when I was growing up on the farm - he came from an aunt and uncle who were moving into town and really couldn't take him. He was never a pet and always semi-wild. My father bought a pea hen at one stage though can't remember if they did have babies. I know Richard was very bold and would steal the food from the cats. Also would sit in the peppercorn tree and squawk loudly. He was very beautiful though.
