Bird Strike Darwin 6th June

Jetstars flight Darwin to Bali 8pm struck a bird on take off, screaming down the runway then braking suddenly. Informed promptly that a bird had gone into the engine and we'd have to go back to check. Flight was rescheduled with diff plane for 8am the next morning. Jetstar was prompt to organise a paid night with brekky for us even supplying us a meal on the way to Bali. We thought Jetstar did good by us. one up for Jetstar!!

That is very good news. I wish more of this thing would be reported to balance the negative issues with J*. It would seem the LCCs are starting to open their wallets a little more in general, even Tiger are opening an Australian customer service centre, etc.
Tiger Airlines starts taking complaints seriously
