Hey all,

I'm just looking to see what the best websites are to book online tickets!

I've found expedia, zuji, bestflights the good ones so far...but I'm sure you guys know a lot more~

I also check flight centre and local shops too.

Thanks!

i find bestflights.com.au the best for me - however i only ever use it as a point of reference! i dont like paying their processing fee's.

if your new to flying - might i suggest a trip to a flightcentre ;) much easier! and occasionally cheaper than what you might find as they have to beat prices.

Flight Centre are Ok but do your homework first, make sure you have some web prices and then check with them.
Recently I needed to go to Tokyo and got a price from them and they were over $200 more expensive than the Qantas website, naturally I booked on the Qantas website. It is worth doing a little checking first.

IMO there is no one website that is the best, but rather you need to sit down and collectively try a few of them - as we know the prices / quality / quantity can vary from flight to flight, day to day.

As with most things, it does pay to shop around.

Perhaps surprising for some, but I have found after doing a check around the Qantas website to quite often have the best available prices (or close enough) for their flights so book there.

Agree with this that QF website can show some very competitive prices - but worth comparing the booking class.

On one occaision I popped in to a travel agent with the QF price (had a few spare minutes) and yes the agency had the same price pbut were selling me a V class rather than N, O or Q class.

The benefit of that was that I could put in an upgrade request without having to pay more via the QF site (and potentially not getting the upgrade).

This was a local independent agency - not one of the chains.

I like to start my research with Webjet, then check prices with the airlines own website before making the decision.
