Hi AFF,

Just wondering what everyone uses to track their current and their projections for SC's, points & other (like hotel stays)?

I use TripIt for my travel in general, but for projected SC's to see when im close to a status upgrade ive been using a pretty crude excel document. Anyone have another/better alternative? Preferably something smartphone compatible.

I use award wallet for tracking all my programs, especially the lesser used ones with miles that might expire, its also handy for logging onto a program without the need to recall user details etc.

Does it show you projections based on current bookings at all? I ask because i'm trying to make sure i meet (velocity) gold in a certain month, and at the moment tracking so i know to book qantas for some or saver for some if i get too close before the date. I then want to be able to look ahead and see if platinum is possible based on bookings i already have.

The spreadsheet is working, as I can project based on fare class to see what will work best - but wish there was an easier way.

Award Wallet does look like an excellent tool regardless though.

I've used AwardWallet too, but also have Consume on my iDevice, which works pretty nicely... there's probably a bunch of apps like it too.

However, having just seen your post above, no projection capability in either as far as I'm aware. I just count my SC religiously every week my looking in my bookings at the flights I'm taking :p

Its historical only, although it keeps track of bookings and any changes that are made, including hotels changing rates on me!

Oh the hotel thing is excellent. I'm signing up now. I usually blindly book with my employers contracted rate because its usually much cheaper, but when some of those no cancel no change sales are on they can be better than the contract rate.
